TESTAMENT's ALEX SKOLNICK: Video Footage Of NAMM Clinic

January 31, 2015

Video footage of Alex Skolnick's (TESTAMENT) January 22 clinic at the ESP Guitars booth at the NAMM show at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California can be seen below.

Skolnick's acoustic-focused project PLANETARY COALITION released a 14-track debut album last November.

An ethnically flavored collective of diverse musicians from all over the world, PLANETARY COALITION is driven by Skolnick, whose work spans jazz (ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO),metal (TESTAMENT),and world music (RODRIGO Y GABRIELA, ISHTAR).

Skolnick's book, "Geek To Guitar Hero", is available on paperback via Amazon.

Alex is a true guitar hero. At sixteen years old, he joined a group of twenty-somethings who'd formed a thrash metal band called TESTAMENT. Alex stayed with the band through several critically acclaimed albums and countless tours with, among others, SLAYER, MEGADETH, JUDAS PRIEST and WHITE ZOMBIE. After hearing and seeing one of Miles Davis' electric bands on TV, Alex relocated to New York City to play and study jazz.

TESTAMENT is currently demoing material for the follow-up to the band's 2012 album "Dark Roots Of Earth".
